Jiřího z Poděbrad Farmers Market

Under the gorgeous Josep Plečnik designed church on Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad, the neighborhood comes together four times a week to stock up on fresh fruit, veg, bakery and more. The Jiřák (as locals refer to it) farmers market has stalls with produce from across the Czech Republic, fresh pasta, Czech dumplings (knedlíky) smoked meat, game, a couple wineries, plus spices, fresh dairy products, honey and lots of sweets (think cupcakes and cheesecake). The square also holds Easter and Christmas markets along with other seasonal fairs.
